Company description
Stanford Cove, importer, exporter, distributor and bottling company, of food products, wine and alcoholic beverages was born in 2003. The company began with its focus predominately on importing wines in bulk from South Africa but bottling them locally in Mauritius by Stanford Cove. This was seen as the stepping stone for Stanford Cove, as it started developing the companies vertical and horizontal market integration, by representing some of the finest wine estates in South Africa. Stanford Cove gradually expanded to manufacturing and bottling a variety of different alcoholic products such as punches, liqueurs, rum and cane spirit. With strong partnerships between some recognized brands and wine estates, Stanford Cove has become a recognized name in the import and distribution of wines and

With the success of the alcohol brands, there was a need to increase Stanford Cove’s portfolio of products and so the importation of South African Food brands was introduced. This department opened in 2008 and by securing agencies from major food suppliers in South Africa Stanford Cove is proud to say that they are becoming one of the key role players in the FMCG sector in Mauritius.
