I've been staying at tropical attitude with my partner from the 25.04.16 and returning home 07.05.16. I'm disgusted with the way we have been treated by our rep Devi. She met us on the 08.04.16 and welcomed us and we booked 2 excursions, one on the 28.04.16 and the other on the 02.05.16. Our first one was the subscooter which was cancelled and rearranged for the 01.05.16 which was then cancelled a second time and rearranged for the 05.05.16 at the time we was quite frustrated as we wasted the day doing nothing at all. Therefore we come to a decision on the 01.05.16 and cancelled both of our activities. Devi confirmed that we would get a full refund of 9800 mauritian rupees back. After coming back from a day out on the 02.05.16 Devi had left our money with hotel staff. On the front of the envelope she wrote a message saying that there is a 30% cancellation fee for the excursion for the 02.05.16 of 1200 maurtian rupees. Which would of left a total refund of 8600. But she only gave us 7600. So she took an extra 1000. Considering she told us the day before we would recieve a full refund of 9800. We contacted her apon realising this and she spoke to us very rude on the phone and wasn't giving us a chance to speak therefore we were told to contact the office. On the 03.05.16 we contacted the office, explained our situation and was told they would get Devi to contact us to solve the matter. We heard nothing back and the following day tried contacting Devi again and no response. On the 05.05.16 we asked the hotel staff to contact Devi and was told she was in a meeting and she would contact us after. We heard nothing back. On the 06.05.16 we asked the hotel staff to contact once again and was told she was driving but she will be here later on to give us our departure details. We waited by pool side all morning then when returning to our room she had left the departure details with staff which was placed on our bed. We Feel like she has tried to avoid us because she didn't want to be confronted how we have been ripped off. It is disgusting how we have been treated like this and we will be taking it further to solve the matter to avoid this happening again to further tourist.
