British American Tobacco Indian Ocean Islands Business Unit regroups Reunion, Madagascar, Comores, Mayotte, Seychelles and Mauritius - more than Rs5.2bns in terms of annual turnover. This business unit is part of British American Tobacco Group of companies which has manufacturing operations in more than 50 countries and sells over 300 brands of cigarettes in approximately 180 markets around the world and employs more than 55,000 people worldwide.
British American Tobacco Reunion sells both imported cigarettes, and those produced through a contract manufacture arrangement in Reunion. British American Tobacco Reunion currently employs 40 persons and has its own distribution set up.
