My family and I spent a week in December 2010 at Banyan Resorts and it was the best vacation that we have spent. We were right on the beach and the view was unmatched. The maid cooked us delicious dinners of typical Mauritian foods at very reasonable cost. We went fishing with a local fisherman and took excursions to small outlying islands. Aquatic sports are available at resorts nearby. You can take long walks on the beach and enjoy the peace and quiet of a small fishermen's village. Walk to the pier right next to the villas and see the daily catch from the fishermen and you cannot get any fresher fish & seafood! Clean facilities and friendly service round up the perfect tropical vacation! The best kept secret on the island!
