Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated candidate with at least 2 years experience in the administration or in a similar position. The Medical Secretary will be the first point of contact for anyone accessing the Clinic, he/ she will be responsible for welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, providing assistance to visitors and acting as liaison with the Doctors/ Nurses as necessary for high quality service and good patient experience.

Duties of Job

Main Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
Greet patients as well as visitors and assist them accordingly.
Answer phone calls, screen and forward appropriately.
Manage the system for patient details and ensure that data entries are done accurately.
Schedule appointments for doctors and send reminders or make follow-up with the patient by phone/email.
Ensure physician productivity by maintaining and communicating calendar.
Process invoices and payments.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Stay up to date with necessary information (List of services, doctors, opening hours, events etc).
Maintain office and working areas clean and operational.
Proper Filing of medical records and performing other administrative duties as assigned and / or when required.

Profile:
HSC or Baccalaureate.
Minimum of two years experience in a similar position or relevant role.
Attention to detail with good organisational, administrative, and planning skills.
Experience/ knowledge in wellness, healthcare and/or paramedical will be an advantage.
Ability to use standard software packages or willing to learn new software if required.
Very good verbal and written communication skills both in English and French.
