Our client a subcontracting company that provides a wide range of services, such as Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing in Mauritius and the Indian Ocean. They have over the years been pioneering in the sector.
- Meet prospective clients and devise strategies to secure new jobs/projects with a view to increase turnover and profitability of the Interiors division
- Lead and manage line managers in different sections - factory, back-office, design team, and project teams on sites
- Prepare and submit annual budgets & forecasts and conduct variance analyses
- Implement and monitor KPIs for each section to drive and quantify cost optimisation while maintaining quality and customer service
- Responsible for manpower planning, staffing, training, development, performance management, reward, and discipline
- Promote and implement cost reduction and productivity enhancement policies
- Ensure that all contracts managers do proper project planning and give due consideration to time, cost, quality, and safety at all times
- Degree in Building Services/Construction Management or Project Management
- Exposure in furniture production / shop-fittings would be a definite advantage
- Self-organiser with strong analytic and management/leadership skills
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Very comfortable with figures (cost management, budgeting for projects)
