Our client is seeking to recruit an Assistant Accountant who will report to the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities
Process with the input of invoices and match with purchase order.
Prepare payments after approval, posting on system, arrange for signatures and dispatch to beneficiaries.
Prepare bank reconciliation reports and ensure completeness of transactions.
Assist with the updating of information for payroll system.
Prepare, verify and maintain accounting records, reports and documents in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly account.
Profile
Degree in Accounting or ACCA Level 1.
At least 2 to 3 years experience in a similar position.
Computer literate.
Knowledge of Accounting software would be an advantage.
Good attitude and deadline oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
