Business Development Executive
Our client, a leader in Process Control and Instrumentation in the local market is currently seeking to recruit a Business Development Executive who will report directly to the General Manager.
DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMMERCIAL STRATEGY AND SALES OF PRODUCTS & SERVICES:
Communicate daily with the General Manager on projects, customer visits, prospects, development ideas and / or problems encountered and proposed solutions.
Gather feedback from customers allowing the development of tools to help establish the business strategy (sales statistics, customer statistics, etc.).
Develop the presence of the company on the local market.
Become familiar with the company's products & services and promote the company through effective customer canvassing, in the field or remotely.
Prospect new clients, canvass companies to obtain new contracts and nurture relationships with existing clients.
Supervise and coordinate the sales and marketing activities (Sales follow-up, customer satisfaction, tenders etc).
Promote the services offered by the company Training Center.
Develop the Training Center activities in collaboration with the General Manager.
Attend workshops, tradeshows and conferences when required.
Perform yearly Customers' need analysis in a professional and efficient manner to help in the development of the Training Calender of the company Training Center and other services.
Actively participate in meetings.
Implement a customer visit reporting structure and provide regular feedback on client appointments during reporting.
Participate in stock follow up.
CUSTOMER & QUALITY FOLLOW-UP:
Follow the Quality procedures implemented in the Company.
Monitor and ensure the update sales and marketing tools for the department, including company brochures; presentation, website etc ...
Carry out Customer Satisfaction studies.
Propose improvements and innovation ideas to the Management.
Perform any other task entrusted by the Management of the company.
Skills and Qualification in Sales or related field.
At least 5 years experience in Sales of technical products and services.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
English and French, written and spoken at professional level.
Excellent organizational skills, seriousness and thoroughness at work.
Discretion with confidential information.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and other work tools.
Must be detail oriented and an active listener.
Office work and field work. Permanent contact with customers.
Flexibility in schedules and ability to voluntarily extend hours in the office if the workload requires it.
