Job Summary

Will be responsible for preparing ingredients/dishes at Veranda Tamarin Hotel that serves food, processing customer orders, producing meals and cleaning their workspace throughout the day and follow health and safety guidelines.
Make guests happy with the dishes.

Duties of Job

• Follow-up of all procedures as per SOP.
• Checks all products (dry, frozen and fresh provision) collected by the kitchen helper or assistant cook
• Receives and examines work programmes from CDP
• Effects “mise-en-place” of all foodstuffs as appropriate
• Prepares the presentation of the plate on receipt of orders from CDP and participate in presentation & decoration of buffet.
• Starts cooking by executing processes (fiches techniques) according to specificity of meal/pastry
• Keeps place of work tidy
• Be in line with HACCP/ISO standard.
• Control the cleaning of the section
