Innovative natural ventilation control solution launched by SE Controls Maintaining precise control over indoor air quality, temperature and energy consumption are key considerations for buildings using natural ventilation (NV) systems and SE Controls’ new compact NVLogiQ room controller provides an innovative solution to meet these requirements.
The NV LogIQ™ Room Controller can be used as a standalone system or networked to give individual room control with global common signals such as wind, rain and security closing.
All within a small wall-mounted enclosure, the NV LogIQ™ Room Controller has integrated sensors, switches and a backlit LCD display that offers the following facilities without the need for separate sensors within the room:
* CO2 monitoring and level display
* Temperature monitoring and level display
* Humidity monitoring and level display
* User control via inbuilt switches with ten increments of operation
* Output signal for external devices such as central heating control etc
* Lock out function to prevent misuse
* Time clock for strategy and security closing
* Vent position/open output signal
* Fresh air ‘morning start’ setting
* Intuitive menu for set point adjustment via a security dongle
* Continuous data logging for performance analysis
Using new control and performance algorithms, NVLogiQ not only provides advanced monitoring and control of NV systems in individual rooms or zones, but also combines integrated data logging for detailed building performance and environment analysis, offline. NVLogiQ constantly monitors indoor air quality, temperature and humidity and via separate PSU’s (power supply units) and actuators, automatically manages the operation of windows, louvres and vents within a building’s natural ventilation (NV) system, as well as controlling the heating.
