Job vacancy Technical Officer (Mechanical)

Our client in the Property sector is looking for a dedicated Technical Officer (Mechanical) to join its team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to managerial staff in the Electrical and Mechanical disciplines.
Conduct thorough site surveys to ensure work meets appropriate standards.
Perform diagnostics to address project needs effectively.
Implement local Electrical and Mechanical projects in line with approved design criteria and standards.
Conduct Value Engineering studies to recommend cost reduction measures.
Support the development of company-wide frameworks and design systems.
Oversee execution of engineering activities across the organization.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
Liaise with external Consultants and Contractors to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Review and distribute reports to provide project status updates.
Contribute to continuous improvement of section systems and practices.
Stay updated on new technologies and methodologies through continuous research.

Profile:

A Diploma in Building Services or Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
Previous exposure and experience in Electrical and/or Mechanical Project Management (i.e. Facility Management, Operations Maintenance, Commissioning, Project Oversight will be an advantage.
Minimum 3 - 5 years of practical experience in a Real Estate Electrical / Mechanical Design environment.
