AFRINIC - Ebene

AFRINIC is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that works to provide professional management of internet number resources, support internet technology usage and development, and promote a collaborative, multi-stakeholder approach to internet self-governance. Founded in 2004, AFRINIC is based in Ebène and is responsible for the distribution and management of IP addresses and ASN for the African region. The organization's mission is to ensure the efficient distribution of internet number resources to the African internet community, to promote internet technology usage and development across the continent, and to bolster internet self-governance in Africa through the encouragement of participatory policy development.
