Assistant Quality Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
❖ COORDINATE WITH AUDIT AND FOLLOW UP -ESPECIALLY SPECIALIST FOR GMP AUDIT
❖ FAMILIARITY WITH PATTERNS, GARMENT MEASUREMENTS, SHRINKAGE, GRADE RULES AND SIZING
❖ GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF FABRIC AND FINISH ON GARMENT
❖ EXPERTISE IN MAKING FINAL INSPECTIONS ACCORDING TO AQL LEVELS SET
❖ ABILITY TO FINALIZE A FIT TO BRANDS NEEDS
❖ PROFOUND KNOWLEDGE ON PATTERN CONSTRUCTION AND GRADING SKILLS
❖ KNOWLEDGE OF AQL
❖ KNOWLEDGE OF FABRIC AND THEIR BEHAVIOR.
❖ SUCCESSFULLY IMPLEMENTED THE TRAFFIC LINE QUALITY SYSTEM.
❖ KNOWLEDGE OF GARMENT CONSTRUCTION & FINISHING.
❖ KNOWLEDGE OF SAMPLING. P.P SAMPLE, PILOT SAMPLE, APPROVE SAMPLE.
❖ HANDLED ALL GARMENTS & MADE-UP MANUFACTURING FROM FABRIC SOURCING TO PACKING.
❖ COORDINATION WITH PRODUCTION, QUALITY AND SAMPLING STATUS.
❖ UPDATING BUYERS, PRODUCTION & SAMPLING STATUS.
❖ HANDLING PRINTING & EMBROIDERY.
❖ HANDLING PRODUCTION PROPERLY ACCORDING TO THE BUYER
❖ SEE THE PRODUCTION IN IN-HOUSE VS OUTSOURCING.
❖ HANDLING INLINE, MIDLINE & FINAL INSPECTION.

Develop, manage implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company’s Quality Assurance Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirements.
Effectively interact with the Technical, Development, and Production team to maintain product quality; ensuring that targets are achieved.
Assisting technicians with checking patterns/specification and construction, identifying and resolving production impracticalities in an appropriately timely manner, and to make a final decision on quality according to company standards and requirements.
Supervise in the handling of sample evaluation and production approval by reviewing the measurement, workmanship, fitting, accessories, etc., and giving comments on the production.
Monitored QA/QC performance by gathering relevant production data and producing statistical reports to be communicated with all related departments. Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training.
Responsible for each aspect of quality control and product assembly in the factory
Provide enough quality control seminars and coaching for company trainees
Ensuring all quality & production issue by Auditing & Controlling
Production planning & machine maintenance and also proper utilized MMR
To give size set sample approval
To conduct a pre-production meeting
Doing In-line inspection to check the quality
Follow up Pre- Final inspection
To keep all necessary documents and quality SOP
To provide approval such as print, embroidery, wash & as per required by the buying house.
To maintain all discipline and compliance issue
Lead all quality staff and GPQ
Ultimately ensure final product quality

1. Quality manager has to maintain a right Quality Management System to ensure quality of product;

2. I will ensure that the QMS is in place & working as envisaged;

3. I will ensure that the existing QMS satisfies the buyer;

4. I will look for ways of improving existing QMS so as to exceed expectations of the customer;

5. I will ensure that buyer’s specifications are properly understood;

6. If there is any ambiguity/ confusion, he will confirm buyer’s actual Specifications;

7. I will ensure that AQL of the company is properly maintained & exceeded.

8. I will ensure that all incoming, in-process & final goods are properly inspected & documented.

9. I will ensure that all goods coming in the store are rigorously inspected for quality & quantity;

10. I will ensure that Traffic Light Chart system of in-line inspection system is installed & working;

11. I will install both preventive & remedial measures against occurrence of any defect;



12. I is responsible for failure of quality passed garment;

13. I will ensure that all of his personnel are trained on their topics;

14. I will ensure continuous training of personal to enhance their skill;

15. I will ensure rigorous control of rejects;

16. I will ensure rigorous control of repairable & washable garments;

17. I will plan for year-wise improvement of quality;

18. I will prepare a quality manual for the company so that company’s quality policy & procedures are known to all and implemented at all levels;

19. I will ensure that quality manual includes all policy, procedures, methods & measures so as to unify actions;

20. I will monitor performance of suppliers of raw-materials;

21. I will have his personnel motivated.

22. I will ensure that supplier-customer chain in maintained in the production process;

23. I will ensure that production commences only when worksheet approved sample & swatch card are at hand.
