Our client is a leading hotel group.

• Strategic Asset Management: Develop and implement comprehensive asset management strategies to enhance the performance and value of the hotel portfolio.
• Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data, budgets, and forecasts to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimisation, and profit enhancement.
• Operational Oversight: Monitor and evaluate the operational performance of each hotel, ensuring adherence to brand standards, quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Investment Planning: Identify and prioritise capital expenditure projects to maintain and improve the physical condition and market competitiveness of the hotels.
• Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competition, and economic conditions to make informed decisions and recommendations.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the hotels, including legal, operational, and financial risks.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and stakeholders, summarising key performance indicators and progress towards strategic objectives.
• Contract Management: Manage relationships with third-party operators, vendors, and service providers to ensure alignment with asset management goals.
• Portfolio Optimisation: Evaluate the portfolio regularly to assess the potential for acquisitions, dispositions, or re-positioning of assets.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in hotel asset management/Hotel Operations and Management preferably overseeing a diverse portfolio in Africa.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, industry trends, and market dynamics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., Excel, property management systems).
