Job vacancy Group Head of Clinical Procurement and Product Development

Our client, the private healthcare cluster of a renowned group has its head office in Mauritius. They are the leading provider of medical care in Mauritius and in the Indian Ocean region.

Clinical Procurement & Supply Chain Management:

• Lead procurement & supply chain team.
• Develop drugs & consumables purchase strategy.
• Implement supply chain strategy & MRP.
• Manage pricing methodology & negotiations.
• Optimize Gross Contribution margin for drugs & consumables.
• Generate supply chain reports & KPIs for board insights.
• Establish supply chain policies & procedures, including audits.
• Lead MRP project for the Group.

Product Development:

• Drive product & service development alignment.
• Establish product pricing methodology.
• Maximize revenue through pricing & billing analysis.
• Manage insurance negotiations & contracts.
• Analyse financial data for revenue enhancement.
• Identify & prevent revenue leakage points.
• Provide board insights for revenue optimization.
• Review processes for reimbursement optimization.
• Lead ICD 10 coding project or equivalent.

• Minimum 10 years in healthcare sector, 3 at EXCO level.
• 3+ years similar role in healthcare/insurance.
• Financial proficiency: analyse statements, assess profitability.
• Understanding of private insurance reimbursement.
• Strong analytics, large dataset handling.
• Health insurance claims management expertise.
• Proficient in healthcare information systems.
• Knowledge of billing/coding systems like ICD-10.
• Familiarity with reimbursement methodologies.
• Effective communication and stakeholder presentation.
• Self-starter & team player.
• Negotiation and key account management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization.
• Comfortable with various data and HIS tools.
