Public Infrastructure, Land Transport & Shipping (Public Infrastructure) is responsible for the implementation of building projects for Ministries and Departments. The Architect, Engineer and Quantity Surveying Sections, under the responsibility of the Director (Architecture), Director (Civil Engineering) and Director (Quantity Surveying) respectively ensure the safety, functionality, aesthetic of Government buildings and that they are environmentally friendly and conducive to efficiency and comfort to the users and to the public at large. The Ministry ensures that prompt response and professional advice are given to the user authority in the design, maintenance, contracting, monitoring and supervision of Government buildings to ensure value for money.
