Job vacancy Export Business Development Manager

My client is a multinational company food-products corporation handling multiple portfolios across the globe.

The Export Business Development Manager must come from the FMCG industry with strong export experience.

• Must understand starting up and modern trade
• Own a P&L
• Be excellent in forecasting
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and the full Microsoft Suite.
• Manage Distributors within designated countries
• Receive promotion material and mechanics from Marketing, and agree activation plans for all trade programs
  with Distributors

The prospective Export Business Development Manager must be based in Johannesburg and be willing to travel to other regions across 15 countries in Africa.

• Must have East-Africa, West Africa and SADC experience
• Sell the activations into the trade and major key accounts
• Reconcile monthly, YTD and YTG activation spends
• Lead the Sales and Distribution activities in the distributors, and maintain a high performance and engaged culture within their teams
• Give feedback against the monthly budget (spend and sales performance) tracker
