Job vacancy Tandoor Cook

Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa is currently looking for a Tandoor Chef. Reporting to the Executive Chef, the selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

- Preparing food items by cutting, chopping and mixing.
- Producing new tandoori dishes.
Managing, training new assistance tandoori chefs.
- Preparing tandoor dishes under instructions of Head Chefs.
- Allocating and overseeing the work of the junior kitchen staff team including cleaning schedules.
- Purchasing and dealing with suppliers.
- Stock control.
- Quality checks.
- Health and hygiene compliance and HACCP protocols.
- Monitoring food safety and temperatures
