Job vacancy Yoga Instructor

Responsible for teaching guests how to correctly perform yoga techniques and movements in an indoor or outdoor setting with a group or offering personalized sessions upon request.

- Provides class with instructions on poses and conduct demonstrations as needed and walk around with hands-on adjustments to help the participants move their bodies into the right placement.
- Moves in a sequencing pattern designed to gradually warm up the body, builds in intensity as the poses progress from simpler to more complex movements.
- Incorporates ‘pranayama’ or breath works into yoga session.
- Takes into consideration the physical limitations of guests and assign appropriate exercises accordingly.
- Ensures that the class environment is positive and adheres to health, safety and quality standards imposed.
- Offers advice on health and lifestyle.

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position. Previous work experience in the hotel/hospitality industry will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively deal with a variety of audience, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy.
- Physically fit and flexible with a calm personality.
